API Management team monitors the API Analytics in the Azure API Admin Portal on daily basis where we have real-time information on how the APIs are called , API health and status of API calls . We analyse the number of Successful API Calls, API Call failures , Unauthorized calls and look for any anomalies in the usage of APIs and contact the respective application service managers or API developers with relevant details to debug.
We use Logs in API Management to check the additional details of API calls for issue debugging and reporting. API calls via API Management gateway are also logged in to a monitoring data base and generate reports to get insight API usage across Business Areas, Reusable APIs, API growth, Anomalies etc.
